CEMIX MULTICRETE GENERAL PURPOSE CONCRETE

Multicrete General Purpose Concrete is an excellent product for all types of general purpose concrete applications such as foundation walls and footings, sidewalks, curbs, steps ramps and walkways, pipe and post footings, floor slabs and patios, pools, fish ponds, stepping stones and bird baths, slope protection and driveways. For applications 40mm or greater this product is available in 25kg or 40kg bags. One 25kg bag will produce approximately 0.012 cubic metres, or 40kg = 0.0192 cubic metres.  After 7 days the concrete will achieve a minimum strength of 17MPA and 28MPA after 28 days.

CEMIX FASTCRETE FAST SET CONCRETE

Fastcrete Fast Set Concrete is ideal for concrete projects requiring fast setting times with low structural requirements such as letter box posts, small signs, low fence posts and temporary hold of posts before topping with General Purpose concrete.  Fast set consists of a uniformly blended properly proportioned mixture of stone, gravel, sand, Portland cement and other admixtures approved for use in concrete to improve workability, performance and the fast set of the product.  Its unique composition enables it to be poured in a hole already filled with the required amount of water and the post. (Note:  In sandy soils line the hole with plastic). No mixing is required. After 15 minutes the hole can be topped up with earth and after 1 hour the post can withstand wire straining or similar pressure.  Available in 25kg bags.  One bag will produce approximately 0.012 cubic metres and can be used if length of post below ground is 300mm and height above ground is 900mm.  After 7 days the concrete will achieve a minimum strength of 10MPA and 15MPA after 28 days.
